Congratulations to Jon Medin, Mercy's director of growth and marketing, on his recent completion of the Leadership Asheville program! For their community program, LA Class 42 threw a fundraising gala for Operation Gateway, a nonprofit organization that assists formerly incarcerated citizens in navigating the barriers they face when reentering society. Mercy Urgent Care was proud to be a sponsor of the event, which raised over $46k.

We're pleased to announce that Mercy Urgent Care CEO & President Rachel Sossoman is a nominee for the 2024 Urgent Care Association Board of Directors elections. With two seats available, candidates are elected by vote from individual and organizational members of UCA. The new Board of Directors members will be announced at the 2024 UCA convention during the member meeting and reception on Tuesday, April 16.

On Monday, April 8, Mercy Urgent Care CEO & President Rachel Sossoman was a speaker at Beckers Healthcare 14th Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois. The panel, "How CEOs Can Build Trust With Their Teams," also included Chanda Chacon, CEO of Children's Nebraska, and William Davis, CEO of Deaconess Illinois.
