The Mountain History & Culture Group (MHCG) is a 501c3 non-profit support group for the Vance Birthplace State Historic Site whose mission is to promote, coordinate, and strengthen the advocacy and advancement of the interpretation and understanding of southern Appalachian mountain life and culture.
